SCPRSA highlights public relations work and esteemed professionals at 2023 Mercury Awards Ceremony and Professional Development Conference

Professional state chapter celebrates public relations campaigns, tactics and practitioners in South Carolina

The South Carolina chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (SCPRSA), the state’s largest professional association for public relations and communications professionals, held its 2023 Mercury Awards Ceremony and Professional Development Conference. Twenty-eight awards were presented to celebrate professional and student work from 2022 as well as individuals that positively contribute to the profession of public relations and communications in South Carolina.

This year’s event was presented by Dominion Energy South Carolina and was sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Chernoff Newman and Midlands Technical College.

“This is the first time ever that we have added a professional development aspect to our Mercury Awards celebration. We are beyond thankful for those who attended and participated in this year’s event,” said SCPRSA’s 2023 President, Kaytee Watson. “I want to give a huge congratulations to all our nominees and winners.”
