SCPRSA to host Annual Mercury Awards and Spring Conference

March 27, 2009

COLUMBIA, SC – March 27, 2009 – Ever to Excel. That is the theme behind this year’s South Carolina Public Relations Society of America’s 2008 Mercury Awards and spring professional development conference.

The Mercury Awards honor creative communication and strategic excellence in the public relations field – and you don’t have to be a member of SCPRSA to attend! Awards in more than 50 categories will be given out during the banquet on Thursday, April 30 at The Hall in downtown Columbia. Tickets are on sale now at www.scprsa.org.

There’s no better place to be on April 30 than in Columbia at the SCPRSA Mercury Awards and there is no better place to be the next morning, Friday, May 1, as SCPRSA holds its first half-day Spring Professional Development Conference of 2009 at the elegant Columbia Hilton. Several of South Carolina, North Carolina and New York’s top communications professionals will speak to some of today’s most pressing and engaging PR and marketing topics. The sessions will be valuable to PR practitioners at every stage in their career. View the conference agenda and register online today at www.scprsa.org.
