CHARLESTON, SC – October 9, 2008 – Seneca, SC-based MedProcure received a $150,000 investment from SCRA’s SC Launch! today at The Poinsett Club in Greenville. MedProcure is headed by Tom Woodson, a Greenville native and Furman University graduate. MedProcure offers innovative supply chain solutions for healthcare providers in the non-acute (non-hospital) market segments. The company provides inventory and procurement solutions for its clients, including nursing homes, surgery centers, clinics, physicians, veterinarians and dentists.

Woodson founded MedProcure in 2007 with his partner, David Quattlebaum.  “We are pleased that MedProcure is now an SC Launch! Portfolio Company. MedProcure is yet another demonstration of the entrepreneurial strength we have in South Carolina that further builds the Knowledge Economy here,” said Bill Mahoney, SCRA CEO.
