SCRA’s Tammy Gleaton Simpo Receives Certified Enterprise Architect Distinction

CHARLESTON, SC – October 20, 2008 – Tammy Gleaton Simpo, a senior analyst for SCRA, has earned Certified Enterprise Architect certification (EA) by Carnegie Mellon University and IBM-Telelogic. Along with mandatory professional experience, EA certification requires successful completion of three stringent courses.

Simpo has been with SCRA for almost 10 years. She leads EA development and manages enterprise assessment and operational architecture design: the structure between business entities and their key elements. EA practice includes linkage of strategy, business and technology resulting in increased agility.

Her expertise includes educational solution development that targets memory; learning and teaching through interdisciplinary research that utilizes neuroscience, cognitive science, emotional development and educational practice.

Simpo will complete a Master of Science degree in Montessori Education from Barry University in December. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Information Systems Management from Charleston Southern University.
