Members HQ and Supermoon were accepted as South Carolina Research Authority Member Companies. PeriopHealth received new grant funding.

All SCRA Member Companies receive coaching, access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network, eligibility to apply for grant funding, and the potential to be considered for investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch Inc.

Members HQ Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Charleston-based information technology company has developed a health plan member engagement platform called Benefits Hero. Benefits Hero enables administrators to drive better plan outcomes through its personalized and simple-to-use platform.

PeriopHealth LLC received a $50,000 Acceleration Grant. The Charleston-based startup offers a surgical instrument management solution that creates a real-time perpetual inventory, reduces waste, and helps optimize instrument workflows and quality in sterile environments.

SuperMoon Inc. has been accepted as an SCRA Member Company. The Greenville-based information technology is developing an AI-driven customer relationship management tool designed to be an advanced automated solution that makes it easy for small businesses to manage their customer relationships and communication.

SCRA welcomes these new Member Companies and congratulates this grant recipient.

Grant funding is made possible, in part, by the Industry Partnership Fund contributions that fuel the state’s innovation economy. Contributors to the IPF receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, making it an easy and effective way to help one of the fastest-growing segments of the South Carolina economy. Grant funding for Member Companies creates a direct, positive economic effect and job creation.
