SCRA Chief Executive Officer Bill Mahoney Honored With 2009 ThinkTEC Award

CHARLESTON, SC – February 12, 2009 – SCRA announces today that Bill Mahoney, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, was honored with the 2009 ThinkTEC Award representing the public sector. Mahoney accepted the award at the 9th Annual ThinkTEC Innovation Summit in Charleston yesterday.The ThinkTEC Award is given annually to an individual who demonstrates outstanding leadership in advancing knowledge-based business in the Charleston region.
ThinkTEC is an initiative of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Innovation Division. “Bill Mahoney’s keen leadership and vision has lead to significant accomplishments for SCRA that will have a positive impact on the knowledge economy in our region and state for generations to come,” said Pennie Bingham, the Chamber’s Vice President of Business Development and Innovation.
