SCRA Hosts Shipbuilder Event

Over 300 Attendees Brought to the Lowcountry
CHARLESTON, SC – The SCRA Applied R&D-led National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) hosted their biennial All-Panel Meeting in Charleston, S.C. on March 10-12, bringing over 300 attendees to the Lowcountry. The NSRP brings U.S. shipyards and key Navy stakeholders together to increase efficiencies and decrease costs by introducing new technologies and improved processes into the U.S. shipbuilding industry.
The All-Panel Meeting serves a critical role for NSRP by providing a public forum for industry-wide networking, technology transfer and broad interest discussions. The agenda included keynote addresses by shipyard and Navy senior executives, project results, technology presentations and project exhibits.
