Receives Honor for Fifth Consecutive Year

SUMMERVILLE, SC – SCRA has been named a Best Place to Work in South Carolina, receiving the honor at the 10th annual awards dinner held last night in Columbia, S.C. SCRA placed 10th out of 26 finalists in the Small/Medium business category, which consists of businesses with 15-249 full-time employees. The Best Places to Work initiative is designed to find and recognize the state’s most innovative, top-notch employers.

SCRA has consecutively been in the top 10 rankings over the past 5 years. Of the 50 companies recognized at the awards dinner, 13 are affiliated with SCRA, in roles ranging from suppliers and subcontractors, to clients and Resource Network Partners of SCRA Technology Ventures’ SC Launch Program.

“We are honored to have been selected as a Best Place to Work for the fifth consecutive year,” said SCRA CEO Bill Mahoney. “This outcome is validation that we continue to foster an outstanding technology business ecosystem in South Carolina. We could not win this award without our associates and their dedication to the Company. They deserve much gratitude and recognition for their hard work.”

The “Best Places to Work in South Carolina” program began in 2006 and annually selects awardees in the small/medium and large business categories. The award initiative is a collaboration between SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
