Three Clients, One Resource Partner Accepted into SC Launch Program

SUMMERVILLE, SC – SCRA Technology Ventures announced the acceptance of three new companies into its SC Launch Program and one company into the Resource Partner Network. Charleston company Geekin Radio, Greenville-based Motors@Work and Midlands-area Tradeversity, Inc. were recently accepted as client companies. Qonceptual, based in Mt. Pleasant, is now a member of the Resource Partner Network.

Client companies are accepted into the SC Launch economic development program to receive mentoring and other support services. These companies may be eligible to receive matching funds or larger investments. Members of the Resource Partner Network offer their services to SC Launch companies, to include: legal advice, banking, consulting, training and human resources support.

Motors@Work is a cloud-based energy management Software-as-a-Service solution. It is based on certified analytics and patent pending innovations for operating and maintaining commercial and industrial motors and motor-driven systems for optimal energy efficiency at the lowest life-cycle operating costs.

Tradeversity is an exclusive local marketplace that allows students to safely, buy, sell and share items and services, all within their university communities. Recently, the SC Launch program approved a $25,000 grant that will help further the platform and technology.

Geekin Radio is a music application that allows people to create their own playlists and listen to music and listen to other people in real time. All devices listening to the broadcast are perfectly synchronized, allowing users to make their phones act as an on-the-go stereo system.

Qonceptualis an agile product development company specializing in Enterprise Web Application Development, Mobile Application Development and Scalable API Development. Their talented Systems Engineers specialize in the design and building of complex electronics systems and devices. The line between software and hardware development continues to grey, and Qonceptual believes that collaboration between these two specialties creates innovation.
