#SCStrong Day at the Fair!

COLUMBIA, SC – The S.C. State Fair will offer $1 gate admission for everyone this Thursday, Oct. 22 to honor the efforts of those helping the state recover from the recent historic flooding.
The fair has designated Thursday as #SCStrong Day at the fair to acknowledge the many acts of service by first responders, community organizations and various volunteers.
“Out of this tragic situation ordinary people have stepped up to do extraordinary things,” said State Fair manager, Gary Goodman. “We hope to honor those individuals with a day of optimism and fun as we continue to rebuild and recover.”
The 2015 South Carolina State Fair runs through Oct. 25 at Rosewood Drive and George Rogers Boulevard in Columbia.
