SeamonWhiteside welcomes sixteen new hires to growing team in Q1

SeamonWhiteside (SW+), a full-service site design firm throughout the Carolinas, is proud to announce the recent addition of sixteen professionals to its talented teams. This strategic hiring is a move to further bolster SW+’s extensive range of capabilities to ensure high-quality and comprehensive site design solutions in the Southeast.

Matt Bailey is a Talent Acquisition Specialist joining SW+’s Mount Pleasant office. Bailey graduated from Wichita State University with degrees in physical education and communications. His role will revolve around enhancing SW+’s overall recruitment process to connect with future interns and employees and recruit at colleges in the region.

Scott Bogarde joins the SW+ Mount Pleasant office as a Civil Designer I. Bogarde graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in environmental engineering and will be assisting on key projects involving pump stations and permitting with the water resource department.

Joseph Boyatt joins SW+’s Mount Pleasant office as the Survey Crew Chief. With seven years of experience in surveying, Boyatt will assist with all surveying projects in the Mount Pleasant area.

Clifford Colwell joins the SW+ Mount Pleasant office as a Survey Project Manager. With 35 years of survey experience, Colwell will assist with key projects in the area to ensure successful project completions.

Doug Jennings joins the Mount Pleasant office as the Project Coordinator for the construction administration department. Jennings graduated from Clemson University with a degree in environmental and natural resources and will bring that expertise to deliver outstanding client experiences and project excellence.

Ellen Leonard joins the SW+ Mount Pleasant office as a Senior Financial Analyst. With over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and customer service, Leonard will support billing and finance for all SW+ locations.

Lauren Simmons joins SW+ as a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Mount Pleasant’s water resource team. Simmons earned her master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina and will support projects that require water and wastewater system planning, linear modeling, and pump station design.

Shawn Simons joins the SW+ Mount Pleasant office as a Construction Admin Field Representative I. Simons will play a key role in supporting projects prior to construction to ensure they meet client expectations.

Jake Wastler is a Construction Administration Project Manager joining SW+’s Mount Pleasant office. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in civil engineering and will support the team with general construction administration and ensure quality control across all projects.

Trey Ouzts is a Civil Designer I joining the SW+ Spartanburg office. Ouzts graduated from Clemson University with a degree in civil engineering and will assist with civil engineering and design projects in the upstate.

Jake Shelley is a Construction Administration Field Rep II joining the SW+ Spartanburg office. Shelley graduated with a physics degree from Presbyterian College and a civil engineering degree from the University of South Carolina. He will support projects in the upstate and act as a liaison between the design and construction field administration teams.

Robert Nettles is an IT Coordinator joining SW+’s Greenville office. He has over a decade of experience in information technology and has earned multiple IT and security certifications. Nettles will ensure SW+’s technology infrastructure is up-to-date and secure.

Banks Ross joins the SW+ Greenville office as a Civil Designer I after interning for the office during college. Ross graduated from Clemson University with a civil engineering degree and will support SW+ with large projects in the Greenville area.

Evelyn Blackwell is a Civil Designer II who is joining the Charlotte office. With two years of experience in land development, Blackwell will bring her expertise to the drafting and civil design of single-family home projects in the area.

Quinn Travis joins the SW+ Charlotte office as a Marketing Coordinator. Travis graduated from West Virginia University with a marketing degree and will assist with digital marketing, social media, event planning, and proposals.

Jonathan Parsons is SW+’s new Raleigh office Director. He graduated from North Carolina State School of Design with an undergrad in landscape architecture and a master’s in geographic information sciences and technology from the University of Southern California. Parsons will help strengthen the role of landscape architects as leaders in site development and land use planning.
