Season-opening concert postponed

October 9, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Because of ongoing infrastructure and safety concerns created by the Midlands’ historic flood event, the South Carolina Philharmonic is postponing Northern Lights, its concert scheduled for 7:30 p.m.tonight at the Koger Center for the Arts.

S.C. Phil administration is working with the Koger Center on securing a new date for what was to be the first 2015/2016 Masterworks Series concert. The new date will be announced as soon as possible so patrons and musicians can make necessary arrangements.

Tickets purchased for Northern Lights will be honored at the rescheduled concert. Patrons unable to use theirs may exchange them for a different Masterworks Series concert through the Koger Center Box Office or return them to the S.C. Phil as a tax-deductible donation. Call 803.254.PHIL (7445) with any questions.
