Second County Wide Diaper Drive – Monday, October 24 in Laurens

October 19, 2022

The second county wide Diaper Drive will be held on Monday, October 24 from 10 am – 12 pm in the parking lot of First Baptist Church in Laurens.

The initiative launched last month with the first Diaper Drive being held in Clinton. Turnout was strong for the first event and more are expected to come to this event to receive free diapers and wipes.

Carolina Pregnancy Center (CPC) is partnering with local churches for this initiative and will be onsite with their mobile unit providing free ultrasounds or pregnancy testing as needed.

Distribution will be limited to one pack of diapers and wipes per child with a max of two children per household. Parents will be required to show personal identification and provide the child’s name and verification of custody/birth.  Appropriate identification includes parent or guardian photo id (a copy will be made) and could be one of the following to show verification of custody: birth certificate, WIC, or Medicaid card for child, foster care/custody paperwork, daycare/school ID.

Want to support this effort? Here’s how.

Diapers of all sizes, pull ups, and wipes (new and unopened) are needed to fulfill the needs of the scheduled Diaper Drives.  If purchasing diapers to contribute, please try to get gender neutral if possible.
