Seibels appoints Rao Tadepalli Chief Information Officer

Columbia, SC-based, Seibels, announced the appointment of Rao Tadepalli to Chief Information Officer. Mr. Tadepalli will oversee Seibels’ Information Technology Services which includes software development, implementation and support, data center operations and infrastructure. Tadepalli will also lead the digital transformation efforts and insurtech initiatives.

With over 25 years of insurance and technology management expertise, Mr. Tadepalli most recently served as Chief Information Officer at Great American Insurance, a specialty property and casualty insurer. In that role, Mr. Tadepalli led process improvements and technology transformation that earned Celent’s Model Insurer Award in 2017.

Prior to joining Seibels, Mr. Tadepalli served as an advisor to several insurtech startups in Silicon Valley including Plug and Play Tech Center. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Mr. Tadepalli also completed Innovative Technology Leadership Executive program from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
