Shawn Rodwell Joins BE&K Building Group as Vice President of Finance

BE&K Building Group announces Shawn Rodwell has joined the company as Vice President of Finance based at headquarters in downtown Greenville. A member of BE&K Building Group’s senior leadership team, Rodwell is responsible for the company’s financial systems, accounting functions and financial reporting.
“Shawn’s extensive construction industry knowledge and experience, combined with his international perspective, makes him a great fit for our company as we expand in strategic market sectors in the United States and globally,” said Mac Carpenter, President, BE&K Building Group.
Rodwell comes to BE&K Building Group with 25 years of experience in international finance and accounting — nearly 20 of these years served in the engineering and construction industry. A native of South Africa, Rodwell’s credentials include Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the United States and Chartered Accountant in South Africa. He also holds a Chartered Global Management Accountant designation. Rodwell graduated from University of Natal (Durban, South Africa) where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. He has lived in Greenville since 1993.
Current professional memberships include the South Carolina Association of CPAs (SCACPA), the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). Locally, Rodwell is an active board member of Trees Greenville, Inc., a non-profit tree conservation and advocacy organization.
