Shealy earns Vote Pro-Life South Carolina endorsement in House District 14 race
October 14, 2026Rick Shealy, the Republican nominee for South Carolina House District 14, has been endorsed by Vote Pro-Life South Carolina as part of the organization’s 2026 general election slate.
The Greenville-based group, a project of Pro-Life Greenville, announced its endorsements Oct. 5, about two weeks before the start of early voting for the Nov. 3 general election. The slate includes more than 50 candidates seeking offices across South Carolina, from statewide races and congressional seats to the state House and local government.
Shealy is one of the endorsed candidates who also signed the Vote Pro-Life South Carolina pledge. The pledge commits signers to support and vote for legislation and policies that protect human life from conception, support mothers, fathers and families, and defend elderly and medically vulnerable residents of the state.
“I am honored to receive this endorsement and proud to have signed the pledge,” Shealy said. “Protecting life is not a campaign slogan for me. It is a conviction rooted in my faith, and it will guide every vote I cast in Columbia on behalf of the people of Laurens County.”
Shealy has been an active supporter of pregnancy resource centers in the region, including the Upstate Pregnancy Center, Carolina Pregnancy Center and CrossRoads Pregnancy Center, as well as South Carolina Citizens for Life. He has pledged to donate his full legislative salary to the Upstate Pregnancy Center if elected for the protection of the unborn.
Other candidates on the group’s slate include Attorney General Alan Wilson, the Republican nominee for governor; 8th Judicial Circuit Solicitor David Stumbo, the Republican nominee for attorney general; and Mark Willis, the Republican candidate for House District 16. Stumbo and Willis have also endorsed Shealy’s campaign.
Voters with questions about early voting locations, dates and hours should contact their local election office.
