Sheppard’s Glass Service opens new Chapin location

Sheppard’s Glass Service has opened a new full service (auto, commercial, and residential glass) location in Chapin, SC at 855 Chapin Road. Their original location in West Columbia on Platt Springs Road celebrated 50 years in business in 2018.
“We saw an emerging need in the market and moved to take advantage of it,” said Calvin Sheppard, President of the Company. “The Chapin and Lake Murray area has exploded in growth and continues to do so. We want to be convenient for customers and their glass service needs from windshield repair to residential remodeling and new construction to commercial store fronts and doors.” The new location is being managed by third generation family member Blake Sheppard, grandson of the company founder.
Mr. Lonnie Sheppard founded Sheppard’s Glass Service in West Columbia in 1968, next door to the family home. With strong Christian values, hard work, and patience, the Sheppard’s grew their business into what it is today. They take pride in close customer relationships and meticulous service, attributing those to the success of the company all these years.
Sheppard’s Glass Service in Chapin will be open Monday- Thursday, 8am until 5:30pm and Friday, 8am until 3pm. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
