Shop Where You Live: Win Big While Supporting Local Businesses
November 3, 2025The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) and the Town of Mount Pleasant are excited to announce the return of the “Shop Where You Live” campaign, encouraging residents to support local businesses during the holiday shopping season. Kicking off on November 1, this year marks the fifth annual campaign and will run through December 31, 2025.
Shopping locally not only supports your friends, neighbors, and family members who own businesses, but it also helps keep our local economy thriving. To celebrate, the MPCC will host weekly giveaways until the end of the year, offering a chance for shoppers to win a $50 gift card to a participating local business. To enter, simply comment on the weekly Shop Where You Live Instagram post, tagging a participating business and tagging two friends to shop with this holiday season.
“We are thrilled to partner with MPCC once again for this successful campaign,” said Mount Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie. “Our community is home to a variety of vibrant local businesses, and we encourage everyone to shop locally this holiday season.”
“Supporting local businesses not only strengthens our community, but also creates a festive and vibrant atmosphere for everyone,” says Karina Garrison, MPCC President. “We encourage everyone to explore the unique offerings of our local shops and make this holiday season a memorable one for our businesses.”
