June 3, 2025Free Family Movie Event with Crafts and Refreshments – June 12
Families are invited to head to the Clinton Library on Wednesday, June 12, for an evening of laughs, crafts, and classic cinematic fun as part of the library’s Crafters Cinema series. From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., guests of all ages can enjoy a free showing of the animated favorite Shrek, the beloved story of an unlikely ogre hero, his loyal donkey sidekick, and their quest to save the fairytale forest.
To add to the fun, attendees can get hands-on with a “slimy swamp pad” craft—perfect for keeping little hands busy while embracing the Shrek-inspired theme. Light refreshments will also be served.
The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. Whether you’re discovering Shrek for the first time or rewatching a childhood favorite, it’s a great chance for families to gather and enjoy a night out at the library.
