Silent Disco at BridgeWay Station to benefit local foster and adoptive families this September

August 16, 2026

Community members will have the opportunity to hit the dance floor for a cause next month as Upstate nonprofit Adoption Helpers hosts its “Light Up the Night” Silent Disco benefit at BridgeWay Station.

The evening, themed “Music that Moves Families Forward,” is scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2026, running from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at BridgeWay Station (1000 Via Corso Ave).

Designed as an all-ages, family-friendly gathering, the event brings foster, adoptive, and kinship families together with regional neighbors and supporters. Attendees will receive a pair of multi-channel wireless headphones upon entry, allowing guests to select their music channel and dance at their preferred volume in an inclusive, energetic atmosphere.

Each ticket includes event admission, wireless disco headphone rental, and one entry into a door prize giveaway. Additional activities, treats, drinks, and merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the venue during the evening.

Standard admission is $20 for attendees ages 15 and up, while youth tickets for ages 4 to 14 are available for $10 (children must be accompanied by an adult). Children ages 3 and under may attend free of charge, with optional headphone tickets available.

All proceeds directly support Adoption Helpers’ mission to provide critical support and resources to foster, adoptive, and kinship families across the community. Tickets and donation options are available online through the Give Lively Event Page, with check-in held under the purchaser’s name at the entrance on the night of the event.
