Sima Patel elected to South Carolina Women Lawyers Association Board

Nexsen Pruet attorney Sima Patel has been named to the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association (SCWLA), effective January 1, 2016. She will serve a two-year year term.

“We are really happy to have Sima joining us as a member of our Board of Directors” said Nexsen Pruet’s Marguerite Willis, immediate past president of SCWLA. “More from Willis. “Sima will bring great energy and vision to SCWLA, especially at a time when we are looking to strengthen our organization in the Upstate.”

Patel was recently chosen by Greenville Business magazine as one of Greenville’s “Best & Brightest Under 35.” She serves on the Board of Directors for Gateway and on the Opportunity Greenville Committee for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.

Sima Patel represents clients in a variety of commercial disputes, government investigations and complex civil litigation. She has assisted companies in internal investigations, government investigations and litigation matters in state and federal courts. Patel is a graduate of Leadership Greenville.
