Simpsonville Arts Center Opens Registration for Fall Youth Acting Classes

Young performing artists in Simpsonville will have the opportunity to take center stage this autumn as the Simpsonville Arts Center prepares to host a 12-week Fall Acting Workshop series beginning Tuesday, September 1.

The weekly youth program, held inside the historic arts facility at 110 Academy Street, aims to help students build stage confidence, develop foundational performance techniques, and master the art of improvisation through interactive drama games.

Class Schedule & Age Groups

Classes will meet every Tuesday afternoon from September 1 through November 17, divided into two age-specific cohorts:

• Grades 1–5: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Grades 5–8: 5:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.

Throughout the course, students will explore theater terminology, character development, vocal projection, and improvisational exercises designed to encourage creative expression and teamwork.

Registration & Tuition Details

Tuition for the 12-week fall workshop is $175.00 per student, which includes a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee.
