Simpsonville Collective Hair & Spa seeks vendors for Sept. 20 grand opening

A new Simpsonville salon and spa is putting out a last call for local vendors to join its grand opening celebration later this month.
Simpsonville Collective Hair & Spa will host the event Sept. 20 from 3 to 5 p.m. at 131 S.E. Main St. in Simpsonville.
The lineup already includes vendors offering sourdough, custom shirts, barbecue, permanent jewelry and handmade candles. Organizers said they are still looking to add unique small businesses, local brands and creative services to round out the afternoon.
There is no cost for vendors to participate, according to the business.

Grand opening events that build in a vendor market have become a common way for new Golden Strip businesses to introduce themselves while giving other local makers a place to set up. For shoppers, the format offers a chance to meet several area businesses in one stop.
