Simpsonville Fire Department hosts Light the Night for Hope vigil to observe National Opioid Awareness Day

he Simpsonville Fire Department Opioid Response Program will host a community remembrance gathering, “Light the Night for Hope,” on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in observance of National Opioid Awareness Day.
The vigil begins at 6:00 p.m. at the pavilion stage in Gracely Park. Designed around the mission of “Remembering Lives, Honoring Stories, Inspiring Hope,” the event invites community members to unite in support of families impacted by opioid addiction and to honor the memory of those lost to overdose.
