Teaching Teens About Healthy Relationships

Sistercare and The Junior League of Columbia are partnering to host Camp True North, a FREE, one-day educational camp for teens. Located at the beautiful Camp Cole, this event aims to teach teens about healthy relationships, while also providing an engaging camp experience.

The day will be divided into two parts: the morning will focus on healthy relationships and communication, recognizing red flags, and an interactive workshop. The afternoon will include camp activities such as archery, a farm tour, arts and crafts, games, and s’mores. Teen attendees will also be provided with breakfast and lunch, catered by Southern Way Catering, as well as a personal swag bag to take home.

Event Details:

When: Saturday, May 3rd, from 9am-5pm. (Breakfast served during drop-off: from 9am-9:30am.)

What: Camp True North Teen Educational Camp– A day of education on healthy relationships, and hands-on camp activities.

Where: Camp Cole- 1571 CROSSING CREEK RD EASTOVER, SC 29044.

Who: Teen girls and boys.

Sistercare is a United Way partner agency serving thousands of domestic violence survivors and their children annually in Richland, Lexington, Kershaw, Fairfield, and Newberry counties. The nonprofit provides emergency shelter, a 24/7 service line, counseling for survivors and their children, legal advocacy, transitional housing, rural services, teen outreach, and community education and awareness programs.
