Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina Hires Donna Waites

COLUMBIA, SC – The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina announces Donna Waites to join staff as Program Director.

In this role, Mrs. Waites will oversee the Foundation’s Collaboration for Ministry Initiative’s program management and capacity building, as well as the coordination of the annual conference of Women Religious. She will also facilitate the Foundation’s Responsive Grantmaking efforts through Caritas and Community Enrichment grants.

Donna Waites earned a bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina where she completed a grant writing course, receiving grant specialist certification. She also completed a Principles and Techniques of Fundraising Course through the University of Indiana Fundraising School.

Most recently, Waites served as Director of Philanthropy for the Providence Hospital Development Foundation. Earlier in her career, she led the fund development program for Healthy Learners. She has over 14 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.
