Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals’ Heritage Society Inducts Four Members Including R. Mac Stidham

COLUMBIA, SC – January 31, 2008 – Four new members have been named to the Heritage Society of Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals. J. Michael Kapp, the late Peggy Huskey Marshall, R. Mac Stidham, and John Stevenson, Ph.D., were recently inducted into this prestigious group. Established by Providence in 2003, the Heritage Society recognizes its most committed supporters who have generously given their time, talent, and knowledge over the years to further the mission of the hospitals.
R. Mac Stidham served on the board of trustees for the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina from 1996 to 2001. From 1998 to 1999, he served as treasurer. Stidham was a member of the Sisters of Charity Health System investment committee from 1997 to 2002. In this position, he provided advice and guidance on financial and administrative decisions. Stidham currently serves as senior vice president for Smith Barney.
