SJWD Water District announces promotion of Cam Miller to Executive Director of Technical Services
July 14, 2026Startex-Jackson-Wellford-Duncan Water District (SJWD) announced the promotion of Cam Miller to Executive Director of Technical Services.
In this new role, Miller will help lead key operational functions that support the district’s continued growth, infrastructure planning, and long-term service reliability. His experience, leadership, and commitment to operational excellence have made him a valuable part of the SJWD team.
“Cam has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a deep commitment to SJWD’s mission,” said Bobby Walden, SJWD Chief Operating Officer. “We are excited to see him step into this important role and continue serving our customers and community.”
Before joining SJWD, Miller served as a Project Engineer at Black & Veatch and as Director of Engineering at Gaffney Board of Public Works. His background includes capital project planning, critical infrastructure improvement, and utility operations experience that will support SJWD Water District in this new role.
Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Presbyterian College and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. He earned his Professional Engineer license in 2019.
Miller’s promotion reflects SJWD Water District’s ongoing investment in strong leadership and strategic planning as the district works to provide reliable, high-quality water service across its service area.
