Smith Moore Leatherwood Adds to Greenville Transportation Industry Team

GREENVILLE, SC – September 15, 2011 – Smith Moore Leatherwood is pleased to announce the expansion of the firm’s Transportation Industry Group with the addition of Joseph W. Rohe in Greenville.    

Following graduation from The Citadel, Rohe moved to England to study international and European trade law at the University of Durham. Upon completing his English law degree and returning to South Carolina, Rohe began working in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance defense in Charleston, while also completing an American law degree at the Charleston School of Law. Rohe relocated to Greenville in 2010 to accept a clerkship with the Honorable Robin B. Stilwell, Circuit Judge for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, and subsequently joined Smith Moore Leatherwood.  He is licensed in state and federal courts in both South Carolina and Georgia. 

Due to Joseph’s exposure to international shipping and his experience working with the transportation industry, he is well situated to handle complex transportation litigation matters, said Rob Moseley, head of the firm’s Transportation Industry Group. “His energy and enthusiasm have enabled him to hit the ground running here at Smith Moore Leatherwood.
