Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP announced that M. Kevin McCarrell, a partner in the firm’s Greenville office, has been certified as a specialist in the field of Bankruptcy and Debtor/Creditor Law by the South Carolina Supreme Court. The certification process involves passing both an oral interview and a written examination to demonstrate specialized knowledge in the field.  McCarrell is one of only four practicing attorneys in Greenville to receive the certification.

“We are pleased to congratulate Kevin on his recent achievement,” said Tod Hyche, partner in charge of the Greenville office. “His certification is well-deserved as he has deep knowledge and experience in this creditors’ rights and bankruptcy market.
