Smith Moore Leatherwood promotes Courtney Mebane to Marketing Communications Manager

GREENVILLE, SC – Smith Moore Leatherwood announced that Courtney Mebane has been promoted to the position of Marketing Communications Manager for the 165-attorney regional law firm.
In her new role, she will manage and provide guidance on the firm’s brand, as well as marketing communications programs and initiatives including firm public relations, social media, advertising, website, internal and external communications, and more.

Prior to joining the firm as a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator in 2015, Mebane launched and managed an attorney alumni relations program at an AmLaw 100 firm in Charlotte. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in marketing. She previously served as vice chair of the Legal Employer Alumni Relations Section of The National Association for Law Placement and is a founding member of the Salvation Army of Greenville’s Women Auxiliary.
