Smith Moore Leatherwood welcomes attorney Robert Rogers

Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP announced the addition of attorney Robert “Rocky” C. Rogers. He will work with the firm’s Transportation and Logistics practice in the Greenville, S.C. office.

As part of the firm’s Transportation Industry team, Rogers will represent an array of clients involved in the commercial motor vehicle industry. He will provide regional and nationwide guidance on litigation matters, including FMCSA and state regulatory compliance and permitting matters, cargo/freight claims, collections/contract disputes, and insurance coverage cases.

Rogers is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and the Defense Research Institute (DRI). He is active with the United Way of Greenville Young Philanthropists.

Rogers received his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Mercer University and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
