Smoked with Purpose: Beulah Baptist Church to Host Independence Weekend BBQ Fundraiser
June 10, 2026Community members looking to kick off their Independence Day weekend with great food while supporting a major local development project have a date to circle this July.
The Beulah Men’s Ministry has officially announced its upcoming BBQ Fundraiser Dinner, scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026. The holiday weekend event will run from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on the main campus of Beulah Baptist Church, located at 1762 Greenpond Road in Fountain Inn.
The menu highlights classic, Southern-style comfort food prepared by the ministry’s pitmasters. Each dinner plate will feature slow-smoked pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, sweet tea, and a homemade dessert. Organizers are requesting a minimum donation of $10.00 per plate.
All proceeds raised from the dinner will go directly toward the construction and development of The Beulah Baptist Church Family Life Center. The planned multi-purpose facility is designed to expand the church’s community outreach, youth sports leagues, and local event spaces, fulfilling the ministry’s mission of fostering “Good Food, Strong Faith, Bright Future.”
“This fundraiser is about more than just a great pre-holiday meal; it’s an investment in the families and the future of the Fountain Inn area,” the church shared in its event announcement.
Due to high anticipated demand for holiday weekend catering, organizers are strongly encouraging patrons to order ahead to guarantee their meals. Community members can view options, make donations, and secure their plates in advance online by visiting the official event portal at bbcfi.org/bbq.
