Social justice at center of Richland Library community forums

In light of recent events across the country, social justice has become an emotionally-charged topic of conversation. Richland Library is teaming with Justice 360 to start a local discussion by hosting a series of Let’s Talk Justice Forums throughout the month of October.Join us for honest dialogue, empathy and courageous communication surrounding the issue at the following events:

These facilitator-led forums will center around a
thought-provoking TED Talk by Bryan Stevenson, author of Just Mercy. The national bestseller has been hailed as an unforgettable account of an idealistic, gifted young lawyer’s coming of age, a moving window into the lives of those he has defended and an inspiring argument for compassion in the pursuit of justice.

The series of Let’s Talk Justice Forums will culminate onNovember 17 with Grace, Justice, and Mercy: An Evening with Bryan Stevenson.
