SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar brings back “Breast Friends Thursdays”

SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Mount Pleasant, Summerville and Downtown Charleston is bringing back “Breast Friends Thursdays,” a weekly happy hour event that benefits MUSC Hollings Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Research. Every Thursday in October, SOL invites guests to join them for the ultimate girls night out for a cause. The party will start at 4pm at each location with happy hour food and drink specials, plus live local music on the patio from 6pm-9pm.
Every Thursday, guests can enter to win a Girls Getaway Spa and Shopping Spree for two at The Luxury Spa at Belmond Charleston Place along with $800 in cash. On Thursday, November 2, SOL will host the final Breast Friends Thursday event at their Downtown location and pick one winner for the Girls Getaway Spa and Shopping Spree. The winner must be present to win.
Through their Kitchen Karma program, SOL will donate $1 from every Prickly Pear Margarita and Green Chile Chicken Nachos appetizer sold to MUSC Hollings Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Research.
In addition to the Kitchen Karma items, SOL is partnering with Milagro Tequila, Villa Sandi Rosé Prosecco, Dark Horse Rosé, Hangar One Vodka and Bloom Gin. A portion of every cocktail sold within these brands will benefit MUSC Hollings Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Resarch throughout the month of October.
“Breast Friends Thursday is an event series our team always looks forward to,” said David Clark, owner of SOL. “This year, we are even more excited to introduce the series at all three of our locations and for the opportunity to make a bigger impact for breast cancer research in the Lowcountry.”
SOL has three Charleston area locations in Mount Pleasant, Summerville and Downtown Charleston. Each location is open Monday–Thursday from 11am-11pm, Friday-Saturday from 11am-1am and Sundays from 10am-10pm serving lunch, dinner, happy hour and Sunday brunch.
