SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar to open third location in downtown Charleston

January 10, 2017

SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar has announced they will open their third Charleston area restaurant in Downtown Charleston at 385 Meeting Street later this Spring. Locally owned and operated by three tenured Charleston restaurateurs, SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar first opened its doors in Mount Pleasant in the Fall of 2013 and just recently opened its second location in Summerville in the Fall of 2015.

“We are so excited for the opportunity to reach the downtown community,” says owner, David Clark. “We have some work ahead of us but we look forward to welcoming guests into our new home with great food, great cocktails and genuine hospitality.” Clark owns and operates SOL along with long time business partners and culinary experts Joe Sciortino and Andy Palmer.

SOL plans to keep its Southwest and Southern flare by sourcing as many local ingredients as possible and making every dish from scratch. All dishes start with simple and fresh preparations that highlight seasonal ingredients and select spices. All margaritas and cocktails are handcrafted using fresh squeezed juices and any one of SOL’s 60 premium tequilas. In addition, SOL offers a full complement of spirits, 16 craft beers on tap and a list of hand-selected wines.
