Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island hosting “Sandbar Saturday Nights” with live music & buffet

Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island is hosting “Sandbar Saturday Nights” at its Sandbar at Marker 72 beach bar on most Saturday evenings throughout the summer. Featuring a fun, relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere, the festive bar is located in the resort’s picturesque Oceanfront Pavilion, providing beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and the resort’s lagoon. Offering covered seating and tables, a charming ambiance and rustic decor, the bar is open to the public.
“Sandbar Saturday Nights” will be held from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. on June 8th, 15th and 29th; July 6th and 13th; and August 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st, 2019. The special nights also will be held on Thursday, July 4th and Sunday, Sept. 1st, 2019. Each of the evenings will feature a live band from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., family-friendly games (like cornhole and ping pong), drink specials, and optional Lowcountry food stations. The food stations are available for $32.95 per person. Reservations are not required, but are available for larger parties by calling 843.341.1850. Self-parking is available at the resort on a complimentary basis, based on space availability.
“Our goal for Sandbar Saturday Nights is to create a comfortable, casual environment for resort guests and the local community to enjoy together,” said Jay Wiendl, general manager of the resort.
