Due to a higher proportion of older division entries, it has been decided to combine the two parts into one program. The new time is 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 14. Check-in for contestants will begin at noon. They will have a quick lunch, followed by practice and brief 5-minute interviews for the Teen and 4-H Queen contestants.
The Showcase is designed to build confidence, strengthen public speaking skills, and display each contestant’s knowledge and dedication to their 4-H project work. It is also a great way to spotlight leadership, citizenship, and community involvement among the 4-H’ers of South Carolina.
The Showcase is open to all 4-H’ers across South Carolina to compete in three categories: Business Wear, 4-H Project Wear, and Formal Wear/Onstage Question.
4-H’ers interested in participating must complete the registration form and submit with $25 entry fee by January 6, 2023. Forms and entry fee can be mailed or delivered to:
Laurens County Extension Office, 219 W Laurens Street,Laurens, SC 29360.
