South Carolina Association of Health Underwriters prepares for Annual Symposium

The South Carolina Association of Health Underwriters (SCAHU) is a nonprofit professional associ­ation made up of benefits experts dedicated to professional development and industry advocacy. SCAHU is affiliated with the National Association Health Underwriters.

SCAHU will host its 2018 Annual Symposium at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown at USC on Thursday, January 19 and at the Columbia Conference Center Friday, January 20.  The association will recognize six individuals for exemplary service from 5:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown at USC. The purpose of this ceremony is to recognize and honor outstanding service within the insurance industry and the community at large. Awards presented at this ceremony will not limited to association members. The South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has been invited to provide a leadership address.

Among other great speakers, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott has been invited to speak during lunch on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Columbia Conference Center. The meeting’s content will equip South Carolina’s benefits professionals as businesses continue to evolve. Both continuing education and ethics credits will be available at the meeting. All industry professionals are welcome and encouraged to attend.
