South Carolina Bar Announces Charleston Area Section Council Members

COLUMBIA, SC – June 7, 2012 – The S.C. Bar has named its 2012-13 section council members. The following attorneys from the Charleston area have been appointed: 

  • James E. Weatherholtz is chair and A. Bright Ariail is immediate past chair of the Construction Law Section;C. Steven Moskos is a council member of the Consumer Law Section;
  • Jennifer Cheek Blumenthal is section delegate of the Corporate, Banking and SecuritiesLaw Section. Joseph T. Belton and George E. Morrison are council members;
  • Jennifer Kneece Shealy is immediate past chair of the Criminal Law Section;
  • Sean F. Keefer is secretary and James L. Bell is immediate past chair and section delegate of the Dispute Resolution Section.
  • M. Dawes Cooke Jr. and Jill E. HaLevi are council members;
  • Molly Hughes Cherry is chair of the Employment and Labor Law Section;
  • Robert C. “Cody” Lenhardt Jr. is chair-elect of the Environment and Natural Resources Section and James B. “Blan” Holman IV is a council member;
  • Elizabeth “Bett” Myrick and Alexandra Varner are council members of the Family Law Section;
  • Jeremy L. Cook is secretary of the Government Law Section and W. Kurt Taylor is a council member;
  • Charles M. Jordan Jr. is chair and Eli A. Poliakoff is secretary of the Health Care Law Section. Matthew R. Hubbell is a council member;
  • Andrew W. Chandler is section delegate of the Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Section and Brett A. Bluestein is a council member;
  • Elizabeth W. Settle is vice chair and Mark S. Sharpe is secretary of the Real Estate Practices Section;
  • Emily G. Johnston is a council member of the Solo and Small Firm Practitioners Section;
  • Shawn Flanagan is immediate past chair and George “Gem” McDowell Jr. is section delegate of the Tax Law Section. F. Patty Scarborough is a council member;
  • James Ledlie is chair of the Torts and Insurance Practices Section. Other officers are: Molly Hughes Cherry, secretary; Robert Jordan, section delegate; and James L. Ward Jr., immediate past chair. Natalie Byars Fisher and Eleni Roumel are council members;
  • E. Warren Moise and Jennifer Dunlap are council members of the Trial and Appellate Advocacy Section; and
  • Johnnie W. Baxley III is section delegate and Steven Goldberg is immediate past chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section. Anne V. Noonan and William “Will” T. Littlejohn are council members.
