South Carolina Charities, Inc., the non-profit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX, welcomed Ben Rhodes as director of sales. Rhodes brings a wealth of experience in the golf and hospitality industry, having previously worked with organizations such as the PGA of America on the 2021 PGA Championship, Sea Island Company and the Bobby Jones CFS Foundation. In his new role, Rhodes is responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies to identify new opportunities and grow existing relationships for the BMW Charity Pro-Am.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ben to the team and are confident that his experience and skills will be valuable assets to the BMW Charity Pro-Am and SC Charities,” said Tournament Director Michael McGovern. “As the BMW Charity Pro-Am and its ancillary events continue to grow, Ben will serve as an important part of our mission and future success.”

Rhodes came to SC Charities from the Bobby Jones CSF Foundation where he held the position of Golf Sales Manager. In this role, Rhodes provided insight for all Bobby Jones CSF Classic golf events and helped increase sales efforts through his connections in the golf industry and beyond. Prior to this, Rhodes was the hospitality sales manager for the 2021 PGA Championship played at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, where he and his team surpassed a revenue goal of over $10 million in sales. Rhodes also served as golf sales manager at Sea Island Company in Georgia where he was responsible for group golf sales revenue and the organization of large marketing campaigns.

“I am honored to join the team at SC Charities and am excited to use my expertise in the golf and hospitality industry to help raise awareness and funds for the organization’s mission,” said Rhodes.
