South Carolina Empowerment Centre – Free Food for Seniors and Children

The South Carolina Empowerment Centre offers food resources to children and seniors in our community.
Each month kids ages 18 and younger who are in school can receive a bag of food from one of two locations. The next day to pick up is February 16 and pick up locations are:
- Clinton – 27984 Hwy 76 East (n same parking lot with Victory Worship Center and Hospice Store) pick up from 12-1:30 pm
- Gray Court – 340 West Mill Street Gray Court (Pleasant View Center) pick up from 3:00 to 6:00 pm
Child or proof of child must be available to receive food. You can preregister by clicking HERE.
Senior Citizens living in Laurens County can also apply for a commodity supplemental food program. We are currently taking applications with prescreening over the phone. If you are 60 or older and live in Laurens County please contact Kelly at 864-705-0005 to see if you a eligible to receive food assistance.
