South Carolina Environmental Law Project announces 17th Annual Wild Side event in historic Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, SC — The South Carolina Environmental Law Project (SCELP) is thrilled to announce its signature autumn event, the 17th Annual Wild Side, taking place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 5:00 to 9:30 pm.
Presented by Biohabitats, this unforgettable evening will be hosted on the waterfront lawn of the historic Kaminski House under its iconic majestic oaks. Guests will enjoy an exceptional farm-to-table meal, custom cocktails, live music, and stunning waterfront views, all while supporting SCELP’s vital mission to protect South Carolina’s land, water, and communities. Wild Side is an evening dedicated to meaningful conversations, networking, and celebrating the natural beauty of the Palmetto State.
This year’s featured speaker is Bob Inglis, former South Carolina congressman and recipient of the 2015 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award. He will deliver an insightful address on political courage and his personal metamorphosis regarding climate change.
