South Carolina Environmental Law Project welcomes Kali Gasque as new Communications Associate

The South Carolina Environmental Law Project (SCELP) has expanded its team with the addition of Kali Gasque as Communications Associate.
Gasque brings a background in environmental advocacy and strategic storytelling to the legal non-profit. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Science from Furman University and has worked with mission-driven organizations to highlight the intersection of community and environmental issues.
In her new role, Gasque will help convey SCELP’s mission to protect South Carolina’s natural land, air, and water resources through legal action and public advocacy.
“Kali is a thoughtful communicator and storyteller,” said SCELP Executive Director Amy Armstrong. “Her passion for conservation and understanding of leadership and community impact make her a strong asset to our team as we work to safeguard the state’s natural systems.”
Originally from South Carolina, Gasque is deeply committed to preserving the state’s natural spaces. She also volunteers with the South Carolina Aquatic Connectivity Team (SC ACT), supporting communications efforts around barrier removal to protect local ecosystems, wildlife, and communities.
