South Carolina Federal COO, Troy Hall PhD, named Lowcountry Orphan Relief Chairman

N. CHARLESTON, SC – South Carolina Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce, Chief Operating Officer, Troy Hall PhD’s appointment to board chairman of Lowcountry Orphan Relief (LOR).

The Charleston area non-profit has clothed over 20,000 children in the tri-county during times of need and crisis, since its founding in 2006. Hall has served in official capacity on the board of Lowcountry Orphan Relief for 3 years, but has been volunteered with the organization since 2007.

In addition to the leadership contribution, LOR is a designated non-profit of the South Carolina Federal Credit Union Foundation and benefits from philanthropic gifts of the Lowcountry Chapter of Credit Unions.

“It is an honor and privilege to serve with this organization and its generous volunteers,” said Hall. “The work they do to provide pieces of security and comfort to children in their most critical times, is indispensable.”
