South Carolina Federal merges with Health Facilities Federal Credit Union

South Carolina Federal Credit Union officially announced the acquisition of Health Facilities Federal Credit Union in Florence after a member-approved merger in November.
South Carolina Federal now boasts 22 locations across the state. Florence members now have convenient access to three financial centers in their hometown: 501 S. Irby Street, 555 E. Cheves, and 2321 Trade Court.
As a result of the merger, members will now enjoy more options for service, including additional financial center locations, extended contact center service hours and access to over 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs via the Allpoint Network.
“We’ve proudly served the Florence region since 2017 and we’re excited to welcome even more of the community to our credit union family,” said Scott Woods, President and CEO of South Carolina Federal. “This blending of two great credit unions is a natural fit because of an identical commitment to member care and convenience.”
