South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry to Host Annual Banquet August 9

South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry (SCHFH) will host its 2025 Annual Banquet on Saturday, August 9, at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Pauline, South Carolina. The evening promises to be one of great food, fellowship, and purpose, as supporters come together to celebrate and advance the organization’s mission of feeding families in need.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m., with dinner served at 5:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a delicious barbecue meal, participate in live and silent auctions, and have the chance to win door prizes and one of eight guns being given away throughout the night. The program will also feature a special message from Charles Ruth, Big Game Program Coordinator for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
Tickets are $30 per person and include dinner along with one entry into the gun giveaway and door prize drawings.
Every dollar raised at the banquet supports the organization’s ongoing efforts to provide high-protein meals to families across the state through donated venison. Since its founding, South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry has delivered more than six million meals to those in need. Through the generosity of hunters, processors, and community partners, SCHFH continues to turn a passion for the outdoors into a powerful force for good.
