South Carolina publishing company donates proceeds from online book sales to victims of Hurricane Harvey

September 5, 2017

Arcadia Publishing & The History Press is committed to supporting local communities. As we watch people work together in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, our hearts are filled with pride. Regardless of the issues that may divide us, as Americans, we always support our neighbors in need. To do our part to help, we are donating 100% of the proceeds from the online sales of our Texas and Louisiana books during the month of September to the American Red Cross Foundation.

Jack Joseph, Director of Direct to Consumer Sales, states, “As part of our company’s mission to act as passionate community supporters, we feel it is essential to do whatever we can to provide support to members of these communities in times of need. To highlight this commitment, we have decided that during the month of September we will donate all of the proceeds from the online sales of our Texas and Louisiana titles to the American Red Cross Foundation.”

These titles can be found online at www.arcadiapublishing.com.

Those who do not wish to donate through a purchase but would still like to contribute can do so by texting HARVEY to 90999 to make a donation directly to the American Red Cross Foundation.

Arcadia will also replace damaged books for Texas/Louisiana retailers at no cost. For help with this, please contact our staff at 888.313.2665.
