South Carolina REALTORS® release March market reports

COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) released its March housing market data. The reports show buyers are increasing, but their options are limited.
New listings were up nine percent to 10,156 while pending sales decreased 2 percent to 6,867.
Inventory shrank by seven percent compared to last year and is down to 34,171 units. Prices are on the increase as median sales price was up five percent to $169,950, and homes sold faster with most on the market for only 106 days.
“We’re excited to see what happens as we enter the second quarter of the selling season,” said SCR CEO Nick Kremydas.
