Southern First Bank announces executive promotions

Southern First Bank announced two recent executive promotions.

Fred Gilmer, III, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Senior Lender of the Bank. Fred’s leadership role will expand to encompass the Company’s loan portfolio in all four markets: Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston, South Carolina, and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Robert Thompson, III, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Greenville Regional Executive. Robert’s leadership role will include the growth and performance of the entire Greenville market.
